| Dov Engelberg,
Director - School Relations
Dov began his career as a tutor at Harvard-Westlake School.
While attending UCLA, (where he graduated summa cum laude
and Phi Beta Kappa), he continued to tutor and teach academic
and SAT programs with STAR, The Princeton Review, and privately
through his own network.
Dov continued to tutor and teach to pay his way through film
school at USC, and, while there, he decided that there was
a better, more personal and attentive way to conduct both
standardized test and academic tutoring. Somewhere between
the well-researched but no-nonsense, impersonal, cattle-call
philosophy of the big companies like Princeton Review and
Ivy West, and the enthusiastic, smart, personable but uninformed
“neighborhood” tutor, he knew there had to be
a happy medium.
The Prep School is the realization of that vision.
Sandy Frank, Director - Business Development
Born in Western Massachusetts, Sandy graduated with honors
from both Harvard University, with a bachelor's degree in
mathematics, and Harvard Law School. After practicing for
two years at a large Wall Street law firm, he left to become
a
television writer, starting his career on Late Night With
David Letterman,
where he won three Emmy Awards. Interested since college in
standardized
testing, he has now turned his talents to developing a company
to deliver
the best test preparation, academic tutoring, and college
admissions counseling available.
Giselle Miller, Director - Tutorials
Giselle began working for The Prep School as an undergraduate
at UCLA and soon realized how interested she was in helping
to develop a successful educational service. The Prep School’s
innovative curriculum and training helped Giselle’s
students fulfill their potentials. The success of her students
and the feeling of accomplishment inspired Giselle to join
The Prep School team as the Director of Tutorials, so she
could ensure that all new Prep School students would benefit
from quality tutors and exceptional materials.
At UCLA Giselle majored in Microbiology, Immunology, and
Molecular Genetics, to follow her interest in science technology.
While in school, Giselle was a research assistant for a medical
laboratory working on the development of an HIV vaccine. After
graduating cum laude, Giselle immediately decided to jump
on board with The Prep School.
